Since its opening in 2007, Bongsusan Natural Recreation Forest is equipped with multifarious recreational forest facilities where natural and artificial forests match well to be a habitat for wild birds and beasts. Its four-season scenery joined together with that of Yedang Reservoir of 3.3 million Pyeong surely captures visitors’ eyes and minds. Besides, the hiking courses inside the forest, relatively smooth enough for family-oriented hikers, vary in time from one hour to three hours, offering fresh fragrance of pine trees. Along the trail are such well-equipped facilities and rest areas as forest cabins, a playground, a square, an observation deck, a walk, a forest experience zone, all of which make nature a breathing forest as a resort for refreshing families and groups.

What is more, it borders with such outstanding attractions for tourists to enjoy educational and cultural tours as well as recreational as the best fishing spot of Korea, Yedang Reservoir, Compatible Brothers’ Park, Daeheungdongheon, Daeryeonsa, Imjonseong, Deoksan Oncheon Spa, 1000-year-old Sudeoksa, Chunguisa, Chusagotaek, and Korea Traditional Architecture Museum.
